Aquaman (2018) Trailer To Debut At SDCC ’18 in July!

Yesterday, we discussed the first look at Black Manta, director James Wan‘s direction, and some new photos for the upcoming ‘Aquaman‘. Now we have an update in regards to the trailer that many fans are anticipating. Earlier this week, the first trailer for the movie was previewed at the CineEurope conference in Barcelona, Spain. According to Variety, they reported that the trailer would be revealed: “in the next few days”.
Now we’ve learned director James Wan has a special update regarding Aquaman via Twitter;
This is extremely exciting as the marketing for ‘Aquaman‘ has rapidly picked up in the past week. So there’s no surprise that the trailer announcement has come in the same week as the depth of the plot is revealed along with some new principle photos for the movie. Here’s a little synopsis about the upcoming movie:
Following the events of Justice League, Arthur Curry, the reluctant ruler of the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, is caught in a battle between surface dwellers that threaten his oceans and his own people, who are ready to lash out and invade the surface.

‘Aquaman’ cast includes Jason Momoa as the titualr King of Atlantis, Amber Heard as his wife Mera, Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Temuera Morrison as Tom Curry, Dolph Lundgren as King Nereus, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta, Ludi Atlanna and Michael Beach as Jesse Kane.
Directed by James Wan from a script penned by Will Beall, Geoff Johns and Wan, the film is being produced by Peter Safran, with Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Rob Cowan, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns as executive producers. Rupert Gregson-Williams will be compsing the score.
Aquaman will be released on December 21st in theaters everywhere.
