On December 4th, Tier 1 Wrestling hosted an event that sent shockwaves throughout the independent wrestling circuit with the event, “Rise Or Die Trying”. It featured a variety of talented professional wrestlers that all had one goal to entertain the fans in attendances whilst living out their dream of wrestling. We were definitely fortunate enough to witness the event up close and personal with the photography and video footage of the event. From Luke Hawx’s humbling presence to the many of Tier 1’s roster being so inviting to us we didn’t know what we knew now that Tier 1 Wrestling and the wrestlers on the roster will trailblazer through the others and become a powerhouse. It was revealed soon after by Tier 1 management that the next event will be even bigger than RODT and we didn’t second guess it for one moment, for on March 20th, Tier 1 Wrestling presents: “March To Victory” LIVE in Brooklyn, NY and on WWNLive iPPV.

Now if you’re enticed by that let’s discuss the powerful 8 match card that will rock Floyd Bennett American Legion Post:

Rudeboy Riley Vs. Tony Nese
Tier 1 Wrestling Championship

On February 27th, Rudeboy Riley faced against “The International King of Swerve”, Shane Strickland in an intense match for the Tier 1 Wrestling Championship at Revival Pro Wrestling’s event “Clear and Present Danger”. It was stipulated if Strickland would win the match ‘March To Victory’ would become a triple threat championship match. After that heavy-hitting match between future greats of professional wrestling, Riley retained his championship. Earlier in the year (February 7th), Riley would get an answer to a challenge put out by himself to names WWE seen as top prospects to appear on NXT. “The Premier Athlete” Tony Nese was one name on the list and it seems like he wants to capture one more championship before possibly heading to NXT. Now RudeBoy Riley has been setting the wrestling world ablaze with his athletic drive and robust charisma, but will the Rudeness finally catch up to him and lost one of two his Heavyweight championships? All questions will be answered as “The Premier Athlete” Tony Nese faces off against “The Fresh Prince of Shaolin” RudeBoy Riley for the Tier 1 Wrestling Championship.

Tommaso Ciampa Vs. Timothy Thatcher
First Time Ever!

A very special match was announced for ‘March To Victory’ at last year’s event “Rise Or Die Trying” featuring two of indie’s prized wrestlers gladiators, current EVOLVE Champion Timothy Thatcher &  the “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin. It looked to be an amazing match to be featured on the card, however due to Elgin signing a 2-year deal with NJPW which prevents him from showing up to compete, we wish Elgin nothing, but great things from Elgin in Japan as we know he’ll dominate the competition. With that news coming out, Tier 1 had to find a suitable replacement, which wasn’t too hard for them to do. Later in February, the suitable was announced, as NXT star Tommaso Ciampa was revealed to be the opponent to face Timothy Thatcher, but wait there’s more… WWNLive Ambassador Trevin Adams has rolled out the opportunity that was given to Elgin now upon Tommaso Ciampa. If Ciampa is victorious at ‘March To Victory’, he will get a shot at the EVOLVE Championship against whoever the champion next time EVOLVE is in NYC.

Darius Carter Vs. Fred Yehi
Brass Ring Open Invitational

At “Rise Or Die Trying”, Darius Carter came out with the confidence of any wrestler that has stepped in the ring before him. He challenged anyone in the back to challenge him and two individuals came out. “Wrestling’s Richest Prize” picked up the victory twice in one night so there’s no telling what can happen next. If you think ‘March To Victory‘ didn’t get any sweeter, Darius Carter’s “Brass Ring Open Invitational” will have to manage to overcome the YEAH’ingvicious, and methodical style of Fred Yehi as he answered the challenge. Interesting, not even the word to use for something that will be phenomenally insane!

Jessie Brooks Vs. JGeorge
Last Person Standing

What ended in controversy due to JGeorge blatantly using a foreign object to the head of Jessie Brooks, it left the question open as to what is next. That was ‘Rise Or Die Trying’, but this time, around it will only take a moment for a winner to be crowned. This rivalry spills over into ‘March To Victory’ for ONE LAST TIME! Although a cheap shot ended their encounter it will take one person to make sure their opponent doesn’t answer the count of ten from the referee. These two determined athletes face off  in an unprecedented LAST PERSON STANDING MATCH!

Aja Perera Vs. Katred
Valkyrie Women’s Pro Wrestling

In a men’s dominated sport, you can’t count out the equal determination and athletic ability both Aja and Katred have. You can say Aja is regarded as a superhero in many ways as she’s puts her body on the line each time she gets in the ring. Katred has a much more off-shot attitude when the rules of professional wrestling are supposed to be taken seriously; that doesn’t take away from her athletic ability. These two fast rising female competitors will receive the opportunity of a lifetime, but only one will walk out the winner. Who will prevail in this battle of good and evil?

Mike Orlando Vs. Logan Black
Street Fight

It would seem that with the blacklisted wrestlers Conor Blaxton & Logan Black actions at “Rise Or Die Trying” lit a fire under Mike Orlando. It just further fuels the fire when Logan, put his hands on his girlfriend (Ms. New York AnnaTheresa Treppiedi) Mike Orlando has requested the ban be lifted to finish what has been started. The payback will be sweet if Orlando can knock some sense into Black, but the apparent leader of the newly formed Cutthroat Kings may have something up his sleeve. Even with the ban being lifted for Black, Anna’s restraining order still plays a factor. You can imagine this match will be more than a street fight, but we see this match becoming a war by the time the dust settles.

Milk Chocolate Vs. Booty & The Beast Vs. Spring Street Suicide Squad Vs. Monkey Flip
Fatal Four Way Tag Team

When you have a monkey, flipping, twerking, getting crunk and an amped tag team force coming your way to the squared circle, it means action will be nonstop! Milk Chocolate (Brandon Watts & Randy Summers) has a score to settle as they return to Tier 1 Wrestling against Booty and The Beast (Sonny Kiss & Alex Mason). The Spring Street Suicide Squad (Ken Lee and Chris Crunk) makes their Tier 1 debut along with the newly formed tag team of Monkey Flip (Space Monkey & Travis “Flip” Gordon). The Tier 1 management team has put together an insane match that makes for great moments. Honestly, this match is anybody’s game as far as winning.

Gran Akuma Vs. Joey Ace Vs. Mike Law Vs. Nutrious X Vs. Justneph Vs. Black Baron
6 Way Elimination Fray

At ‘Rise Or Die Trying’ the Fray was an exciting match where athletes of various styles were represented and put on some great spots in the ring all to have the right to wrestle and move on to have a chance at the Tier 1 Championship. So far, FEDERATED’s VsK, ‘The Concrete Rose’ Sonny Kiss, and FEDERATED’s Ace Romero have all qualified for The Final Fray. For ‘March To Victory’ The Fray has returned with Akuma adding his fourteen-year experience to the Fray, as ‘Colossal’ Mike Law looks to take down the big competition in this Fray as well. Later in February, it was announced ‘The EmpBruh” Black Baron has his methodical monarch approach to divide and conquer the Fray even though ‘The 5 Star Stud’ may have something to say about an experience, a “Giant Killer, or a “monarch” trying to take the spotlight from him. Towards the end of February, we learned of the final two competitors for the fray, Brooklyn-based rising star JustNeph makes his debut to climb the mountain from the start and the final competitor is the young lion, Nutrious X. All 6 men have some dynamical ability that will catapult them to the championship match, but only one will go on to The Final Fray! Who will it be? Will we see the young and hungry overcome the experience?

Ethan Page Vs. VsK
Grudge Match

There’s only room for one ego and Ethan Page is one competitor that will never back down from a challenge. Page issued a challenge to the crown jewel of FEDERATED. VsK’s response was definitely something some didn’t expect, but it seemed he had better things to do. Even though that may be the case, Tier 1 management went with a more entertaining aspect. With all that being said, FEDERATED may have the strength in numbers, but will there be any foul play when the match comes around on March 20th? Or will “All Ego” come out on top to embarrassed the FEDERATED?
