E3 2021: Avatar, Frontiers of Pandora

The mystic world of Avatar finally gets the justice it deserves.
Originally dubbed “The Avatar Project”, Ubisoft finally gives us a fresh glimpse at Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The game has been in develop at Ubisoft for the last four years. Although we didn’t get any actual gameplay for the upcoming game we did get a fantastic presentation for what’s to come in terms of the visuals and possible creatures associated our blue alien friends.
Aforementioned, Frontiers of Pandora doesn’t reveal lot but the game is a first-person action adventure that takes places amidst the vibrantly beautiful flora and fauna of Pandora. Ubisoft would also reveal what kind of story to expect from James Cameron’s blockbuster.
Ubisoft would further comment:
“In this new, standalone story, play as a Na’vi and embark on a journey across the Western Frontier, a never-before-seen part of Pandora. Explore a living and reactive world inhabited by unique creatures and new characters, and push back the formidable RDA forces that threaten it.”
First announced in 2017, Frontiers of Pandora combines the talents of Ubisoft’s Swedish studio Massive Entertainment and Lightstorm Entertainment, which is James Cameron’s movie production company that made True Lies, Terminator 2, and more recently, Battle Angel Alita.
The upcoming game is titled, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and is scheduled to arrive sometime in 2022. Keep your eyes
