We’ve all been waiting for this since the announcement of the fifth Super Smash Bros. installment. During the Nintendo E3 event, the popular gaming company announced more about the new Super Smash Bros. for the Switch earlier today. The entire reveal focused on the roster which will include EVERY character from the series. You name them, that character will be in there. It will cause a lot of discussion as to who’s truly the best and with what character.
The roster includes, Mario, Samus, Kirby, Bowser, Link, Donkey Kong, Fox, Falco, Marth, Zelda, Sheik, Villager, Meta Knight, Mewtwo, Sonic, Peach, Pikachu, Ice Climbers, Capt. Falcon, Zero Suit Samus, Wii Fit Trainer, Pokemon Trainer, Ness, Lucas, Ryu, Ganondorf, Ike, Cloud, Snake, Snake, Jigglypuff, Pichu, Olimar, Diddy Kong, Lucario, Lucina, Robin, Greninja, Mr. Game & Watch… and you get the point EVERYBODY IS HERE!

Included in those returning are a few new faces from the Nintendo series such as, Daisy, Inkling, and the vicious RIDLEY! However, with this massive roster there’s some differences unlike other series, Pokemon Trainer, Pikachu have their female versions in the game. Other news has unveiled the roster will start out small which will focus players to unlock them traditionally. Returning characters will have new costumes and abilities.
Some of the features from Smash Wii U will also be making their returns such as the eight player battles and the F-Zero’s Big Blue from the Melee game. Ultimate will feature a new class of fighter known as Echo Fighters. Players noticed that with certain new characters they had similar styles of fighting. Those characters were treated as separate characters, now they are treated as Echo Fighters. Nintendo revealed Daisy would be a new Echo Fighter based on Peach.

Lastly, Ultimate will feature two types of stages, like the new level the Great Plateau Tower based on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, this stage will have an standard and Omega form. The Omega forms for stages turn the stipulation stages into a flat arenas. One stage that’s always been featured in the Smash Bros. series is the Battlefield, now each game will have it with a three platform configuration.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will feature some new and mostly returning fighters, but the fight goes on as EVERYBODY will battle on December 7th, 2018 for the Nintendo Switch.
