FungBrosComedy (Entertainers)

It’s one thing to be an individual pursuing what you love to do, but when you go into it with your siblings, the meaning grows more to a status beyond anything you and your sibling can imagine. The Fung Bros. have done just that as they are known for their rapping and comedic mic skills. Although they can sing and make others laugh their most-notable work is doing various videos about Taiwanese American NBA player Jeremy Lin ever since he first signed with the Golden State Warriors. Their most popular Jeremy Lin videos are the “Jeremy Lin Effect” series, made during the height of “Linsanity” when Lin joined the New York Knicks, and the videos have been covered by CNN (pointing out that they were the first ones to use the phrase), The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Yahoo! Sports, and Taiwan News Station CTV. Not only is Andrew and David notable for various videos, their music career isn’t something to sleep on either. Although their style of entertaining is mostly pertaining towards Asian American matters, the fanbase is wide-ranged among a lot of ethnicities. With Grandmaster Jason Chu, Andrew and David formed a rap group known as “Model Minority”, which has released a mixtape titled ‘Model Minority Report’ that has been reviewed favorably in The Los Angeles Times. In the rap group, Andrew Fung’s stage name is Inglish and David Fung’s is D-One. Comedically and musically-inclined these two also have a insatiable appetite to travel around the world and the California area to try some of the great Asian-cuisine restaurants which was taken to another level when they were featured on the the “Hungry” YouTube Channel titled “The Fung Brothers Mess With Texas.” They visited various regions of Texas where they tried the food from restaurants.
