E3 2018: My Hero Academia: One Justice – Trailer & Release Date

During the E3 event, Bandai Namco revealed a new trailer for the upcoming fighting game, based off of the popular anime My Hero Academia, titled My Hero One’s Justice. The 3D arena fighting game will feature some familiar faces of the franchise like, Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Tsuyu Asui, Stain, Dabu, and Himiko Toga. Although those are just the protagonists and some villains, the show’s Pro Heroes like All Might and Eraserhead will also be making an appearance as well.
The game will feature will have players form a three-man squad consisting of one main fighter and two support character. Those supporting characters will be able to perform signature attacks or use their Quirks when called. Each character will have a unique support attack and Quirk, that can be utilized on the ground, in the air, or even on buildings. In many ways, the game attempts to be much like the anime itself. Besides the Quirks and signature attack, these moves allow the player to perform unique combination attacks with their sidekicks.

My Hero One’s Justice has a Story Mode, it will allow players will be able to experience some of the anime’s most iconic moments as well as original scenarios. As the player completes the Story Mode as a hero, you will unlock Villain Mode where they can play through the story from the villain’s perspective. Although it’s different characters with different backstories, Sonic Adventure 2 had a similar aspect where you played the Hero and Dark side of the story.
Completing the missions of the game will unlock items that will increase the hero’s capabilities. The game will also have players customize the hero’s appearance; add some uniqueness to your hero. My Hero One’s Justice will have an online mode which will allow other players to join in on the fun with their customized heroes.
My Hero One’s Justice is due for release on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and the Nintendo Switch on October 2018.
