Yesterday, we got an inspiring speech by some familiar warriors that have witnessed some brutal warfare. Commander Zavala begins the speech speaking about the remnants of his forces, “Our home was attacked. Despite the sacrifice of many brave Guardians, we lost everything: the Tower, our City, our home.” While watching you get pumped up knowing that this sequel will be action-packed and although Bungie isn’t directly referring to it but it seems like the Collector’s Edition of Destiny 2 is Cabal-themed. The invaders are an elite Cabal army known as the Red Legion, which was led by an enemy named Ghaul.
The trailer also dives into if less inspiring, speech from Cayde-6; the Warlock Vanguard, Ikora Rey, who has one line. Unlike the previous game, Destiny 2 will be a completely fresh start as far as Light and the gear is concerned. Zavala (Lance Reddick), Ikora (Gina Torres), and Cayde (Nathan Fillion) will also have their respective actors returning to voice the characters.

When it concerns the initial release Destiny 2 will not be released on PS3 and Xbox 360, unlike the previous game. Bungie and Activision have ditched last-generation platforms with Destiny’s latest expansion, Rise of Iron. As for the exclusive content that will be available for the current generation is PlayStation’s edition will get exclusive content that will remain exclusive for at least one year (until fall 2018). When you pre-order any edition of the game you will receive early access to its beta, which is available on all three platforms. Although the pre-order guarantees the player its beta, Bungie will launch the beta this summer for everyone. On May 18, the studio will debut gameplay footage of Destiny 2 during a livestream event.
Here’s the debut trailer to rally the troops:
