After the popular DC animated series Young Justice abruptly went off the air in 2013, it was thought the series would make a Netflix return but would only stream all episodes of Season 1 and 2. However, through the campaigning efforts, the Warner Bros. Animation studio announced on Monday that Season 3 is officially in the works.
For those who don’t know what Young Justice is about, it centers on a group of teenage superheroes, many of whom are best known as sidekicks or supporting players to older, more prominent characters. The crew originally included Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian, Artemis, and later on Zatanna and Rocker were added later on. DC Comics also announced that Warner Bros. Animation already began production on brand-new episodes and returning to the series as the producers are Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman. While there are no plot details revealed yet, the press release mentions “new twists”, turns and dangerous new threats for the team. Furthermore and most importantly, it will give the opportunity for fans to finally continue the adventures where their favorite heroes left off.
Other information like a premiere date, release platform, and teasers all will be announced in the future. Sam Register, President of Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Digital Series issued a statement in regards to the upcoming Young Justice:
“The affection that fans have had for Young Justice, and their rallying cry for more episodes, has always resonated with us. We are excited to bring the show back for this loyal fanbase and to provide an opportunity for new viewers to discover this excellent series.”

Awesome, I love this show. So much time has past that I had lost hope of seeing another series.
