Brock Lesnar returned on last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Cleveland. He didn’t say a word. Neither did Paul Heyman, actually. Instead, they simply walked out as the next challenger to the WWE world heavyweight championship held by Seth Rollins, as per The Authority, who did away with his suspension to provide the stiffest test possible to the current titleholder.
That test will come in the main event of the upcoming Battleground pay-per-view (PPV) scheduled for Sun., July 19, 2015, at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
No, they didn’t do much to explain away Lesnar’s behavior the last time he was seen on Raw, opting instead to have Cole say that there must have been some sort of deal made between The Authority and Heyman. He didn’t sound scared while he said so, and he wasn’t holding onto his shoes for dear life, so kayfabe may be dead after all.
Oh well. At least we’re getting Lesnar vs. Rollins, right?
Here’s the current Battleground match card:
– Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins
– Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt
