CM Punk. Fists Up. And Ready To Fight.
Phil Brooks aka CM Punk won’t make his UFC debut for another several months (at the earliest), but he just took his first photo shoot for his new company.
It’s worth noting that by the time Punk makes his debut, the UFC will have fully instituted its new uniform policy, which will see all fighters wearing official UFC uniforms produced by Reebok. Gone will be the sponsors you currently see UFC fighters sporting. Sponsor money from the Reebok deal will be distributed to fighters based on ranking, which means as an unranked debuting fighter, Punk will be at the bottom of the barrel, even though it’s likely he’ll draw far more viewers than most other fighters debuting in the promotion (likely the most since fellow pro wrestler Brock Lesnar made his debut having fought just once outside the UFC).
He’s also been busy making the media rounds, and Punk and the UFC are doing everything they can to keep the focus on the former WWE champion. That includes a documentary currently filming, and multiple press appearances and interviews. And now, a photo shoot featuring Punk in UFC gear.
Here’s what he’s going to look like (more or less) when he finally participates in his first MMA fight:

The trunks are sort of a throwback to his several years in wrestling. So his longtime fans will appreciate the look even more as the then-pro wrestler now evolves into a MMA fighter.
