Subtitles. Subtitles. Subtitles.
Many people around the world read English literature. In the last century, many immigrants have traveled to the United States to benefit from what it has to offer. After speaking a native language for many years, the concept of learning a new language may be challenging at first.
While learning a new language people make observations, and take the aid of their native values to create some sort of understanding. In order to feasibly understand a foreign language and literature, one must make connections with his or her native tongue and surroundings. Now what happens when you insert a language you natively don’t speak or read? Think of it in the sense of watching a movie.
Although these languages can be useful for many that don’t understand what’s going on in the story it could take your attention off the movie. You spend your time looking at the lower angle of the screen as the story begins to unravel, but above the subtitles. It’s not that it could be problematic for some, but it could make a difference in trying to experience a film you’ve never seen before.

DID YOU KNOW MICKEY ELLIOTT HAS A PERSONAL SITE?! IT’S MICKEYELLIOTTBLOG.COM! You guys should definitely check it out. Very interesting 😀
Imagine being told about this amazing movie about a Lion herd that is driven with passion and tragedy, you go to watch, but it’s only available in another language that you have no understanding about… OH and lets not forget there’s subtitles. You’re focus will be on those words rather than see what the reactions of the characters matching the words, you might as well read the book.
Then, again we have such a capacity that can pay attention intentively to almost everything.
Well enough about the technical points our great friend Mickey Elliott has his comical and yet serious opinion about the topic. Take a look for yourself, he’s very opinionated about certain topics… Lets say all the topics he talks about.
