The Rollins/Stewart “Rivalry” HEATS UP
This time in WWE is a fun time for the fans and the superstars as they approach the grandest show of the year, WrestleMania. A show that consistently showcases entertainment alongside the pro-wrestling aspect of the WWE loves to get those big wrestling fans involved especially celebrities.
It was last week that Seth Rollins made remarks towards Jon Stewart saying to the effects that he could take over the show as the host—with Jon Stewart stepping down later in the year—and making it watchable. Jon would respond to the comments made by Rollins and call him out even going as far as saying ‘J&J Security wouldn’t be able to help.
You thought Seth Rollins was just going to let Jon Stewart challenge him and let it go? No, of course not, and the two met face-to-face tonight on The Daily Show.
Rollins came through at the end of Stewart’s show, interrupting the evening’s “Moment of Zen” with a prerecorded transmission. When Stewart said he would provide a decent fight for the WWE Superstar, Rollins emerged — holding his Money in the Bank briefcase — and “surprised” Stewart.

Rollins went on to challenge Stewart to show up at this week’s Monday Night Raw in Newark, which Stewart… kind of accepted, but kind of waffled on. I guess we’ll have to wait and see whether he actually follows through and shows up — and who knows what will happen if he actually does.
The two mock-tussled a bit, with Rollins easily breaking out of the 5’7 comedy host’s grasp and putting him in a headlock. Clearly both guys are having a lot of fun with this, with Stewart a self-described big wrestling fan.
