As Above So Below

Just a weeks from now, fans will get to witness what could turn out to be one of the scariest horror films of the year, As Above/So Below.

Early last week, we showed you a new clip from the film that showed a group of explorers as they head down deep into the catacombs in search of information who have clearly taken on much more than they originally expected.

Now, we have a look at a new TV Spot for the film that highlights some of the terrifying misadventures that they encounter along their way to attempt to find the light once again.

In As Above/So Below, a team of explorers decide that they are going to venture deep into the catacombs that lie silent underneath the streets of Paris, France. In search of information on the events of the past, these explorers soon find themselves trapped.

As they head deeper and deeper into the darkness and unknown, they soon find themselves haunted by the experiences of their past as they struggle to find their way to the surface once again.

As Above/So Below is being directed by John Erick Dowdle. Dowdle also worked on the screenplay for the horror thriller with his brother Drew Dowdle.

This is not the first venture into the horror genre for either of them. Both of them served as writers on the films Quarantine and Quarantine 2: Terminal. John Erick Dowdle also directed the films Quarantine and Devil.

The film stars Mad Men actor Ben Feldman, The Purge: Anarchy’s Edwin Hodge, and The Tudors actress Perdita Weeks.

As Above, So Below is scheduled to be released on August 29, 2014.
