Dawn of Justice: Lex Luthor Plot Revealed (WARNING: SPOILERS)

For those wondering just how Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) fits into the rich tapestry that is Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, then this new rumour might clear up a thing or two for you.

But first, these details are massively, massively spoilery, so beware

Geek Tyrant has the scoop, via an anoymous extra who worked on the film’s Detroit set for ten days. According to the extra, the ending of Dawn of Justice has already been filmed.

“One of the scenes shot featured Batman breaking into Lexcorp to steal kryptonite,” reports the site, “and apparently Lexcorp had somehow gotten ahold of General Zod’s body.”

Badass Digest has gone on to confirm this via its own sources, explaining that Lex has been synthesizing kryptonite from the World Engine’s rubble, and Zod’s corpse is “the key to his master plan to defeat Superman.”

Last week, Warner Bros. and DC announced the decision to move Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice from its scheduled May 6, 2016 release date – opposite Marvel’s Captain America 3 – to March 25, 2016.
