One artist knows how to follow his own words, his name is Jay Park. The man of many talents has worked his way from aspiring to living his own dream of making one of many things he loves which to make music. His music has captivated many teens and young adults around the world. Whether it be a soothing-romantic song for the ladies or a invigorating rap for the guys that have the heart of a b-boy. Even diving into the in between with his pop mixture with English and Korean.

The 27 year old artist had his big break in 2006, making his way to Korea and working hard to develop his career trying to know the culture and the language. Despite the difficult struggles he may have faced in Korea, he never gave up on his dream only to push forward. From 2008-2010, Jay Park would display his determination to become a recognized artist whether it be his work with 2PM, YouTube, or his b-boy crew Art of Movement. Jay Park would work on his solo career when he came back to his homestate (Seattle Washington).

From 2011-2013 saw the aspiring artist’s dream become a reality in its truest form. He would team up with Cha Cha Malone, releasing “Bestie” a song sung in both English and Korean. Also in 2010, Park began collaborations and forming close ties with rappers Dok2 and The Quiett of Illionaire Records, titling the partnership “AOM & 1llionaire”. n February 2012, Park released his first full-length album, New Breed, quickly topping charts in South Korea and internationally, and went multi-platinum in less than a week. Park also released an English mixtape, Fresh Air: Breathe It, which became the first mixtape by an Asian artist to have gold status by surpassing 100,000 downloads on DatPiff. Following the release of New Breed in 2012, Park successfully held his first solo concert in Seoul, as well as embarking on tours around Asia and Australia. Park headlined the Verizon APAHM Tour in the USA, and was the closing act at MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2012.
