Ghost of Yōtei Legends DLC – Free Co-Op Adventure

Sucker Punch Productions expands on Ghost of Yōtei with the announcement of ‘Legends.’ set to launch on March 10th, 2026. The surprise dropped during Sony’s recent State of Play showcase and will arrive part of patch 1.5 adding new ways for players to team up and tackle supernatural challenges.

First introduced in Ghost of Tsushima, ‘Legends’ gives players an online co-op experience for up to four players unlike the main story after Atsu. The update introduces three distinct mission types at launch:

• Survival Missions: Four players fight through waves of enemies on four unique maps, using a territory-control system where held areas grant powerful Blessing while losing them triggers debilitating Curses.
• Story Missions: Designed for two players, this mode features 12 missions that flow through narrative objectives together.
• Incursions: Unlocked after completing sets of Story missions, Incursions send squads of four against fortified strongholds tied to members of the Yōtei Six, culminating in epic boss battles versus fearsome supernatural foes like The Spider, The One, The Kitsune, and The Snake.

Beyond the missions, Legends will also offer extra content including four distinct classes, Samurai, Archer, Mercenary, and the Shinobi. Each will have their own unique specializations and combat roles. Legendary gear and weapons to motivate players to challenge themselves with higher-difficulty and reward. Additionally, a new Legends lobby will be accessible. It provides players a space to warm-up with combat and archery practice. Players can compete in mini-games like Zeni Hajiki or aim for the high score in Bamboo Strike. The return of Photo Mode, now supercharged for capturing moments with friends in the co-op world.

Best of all? The expansion is free for anyone who owns Ghost of Yōtei on PlayStation 5, giving fans a fresh reason to return to the vibrant, demon-world.
