E3 2021: Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands (Trailer)
A fantasy spinoff that includes the likes of Wanda Sykes, Andy Samberg and Will Arnett.
During the Summer Games Fest Kickoff livestream, Gearbox and 2K announced Borderland’s Tiny Tin Wonderlands, a fantasy-based shooter due for release in early 2022 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Windows PC.
It’s been revealed that in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will have the freedom for players to build, customize and control their own characters. Your character will also fit into multiple classes. The game will also feature the familiar Borderlands gunplay and weaponry with a fantasy twist like blowing up a dragon with a rocket.
Gearbox fully intents to have a full-length adventure that include a campaign, four-player co-op, and content that will keep the player fully engaged throughout. With Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has been in and out of development for over 10 years according to Gearbox founder Randy Pitchford,
“For me, bringing actual Borderlands guns to fight dragons, skeletons, goblins, and more in an original fantasy world imagined by the galaxy’s deadliest thirteen-year-old, Tiny Tina, as a new, full-featured AAA video game is a dream come true.“
