After Daniel Bryan proven that he’s still can battle unlike any other, the ultimate underdog was in full swing as he entered the five man gauntlet match to determin the #1 contender for the WWE Championship. Prior to the match he was confronted two old foes, Luke Harper & Erick Rowan. Bryan would go onto battle through the brute forces of Big E and Samoa Joe only to be eliminated by The Miz due to the interference of the current SD Live Tag Team champions, Bludgeon Brothers.
The following week, it became clear what direction Daniel Bryan was heading with him confronting the Bludgeon Brothers again. At the end of the night, Bryan would face off against Luke Harper which resulted in Erick Rowan causing a disqualification. The attack ensued which brought out former Team Hell No partner, Kane to make the save.
SD Live General Manager Paige would seize the opportunity to schedule The Bludgeon Brothers against the newly formed Team Hell No for the SD Live Tag Team Champions at Extreme Rules.
