James Wan has provided the world with some thrilling horror movies from the likes of SAW and Insidious, but The Conjuring was uniquely special. It delivered a sense of horror that relied on stories from the real world. Not only The Conjuring a horror of great success but it was relatively rare for the horror genre and managed to win over critics and fans alike. However, instead of making sequels after sequels, Warner Bros. and New Line have decided to expand The Conjuring universe with a spin-off that focuses on one character from The Conjuring 2. The latest spin-off in that universe is The Nun.
In The Conjuring 2, featured the demon nun, Valak as a central plot for the movie, but interestingly enough, the nun character was a last minute entry by James Wan himself. Now the standalone movie ‘The Nun‘ will depict Valak in the darkest light ever.
