The girls are back!
Netflix has become the #1 source for streaming classic movies and series as well as current movies that are shown in movies theatres. One thing Netflix has capitlized on is the use of telling original stories with their original series. From Stranger Things, 13 Reasons Why, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt there’s no doubt that they have been captivating audiences a million times over. One of their original series making a comeback this summer is the sixth season of Orange is the New Black.
Yesterday, Netflix would reveal the news via Twitter in a short teaser video released along with the announcement, Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) warns that “this is a whole new world” as the repercussions of decisions made in the previous season will be revealed.
During season five, a riot broke out as a result of Poussey‘s eath which quickly escalated in the inmates gaining control of the prison. The Litchfield prison went erupted in chaos as the inmates had that taste of power. The riot would last for only three days and left the lives of the inmates’ would be changed forever as they fought for redemption, resolution, and the respect they deserve. In the end, each inmate would feel their personal triumphs along with heavy consequences to follow, as they were ultimately loaded into buses, separated, and taken away to new prisons.
Now a brand new season is on the way, but the plot for season six has tightly been kept a secret. However, from OITNB star Laura Prepon (Alex Vause) and Danielle Brooks (Tasha ‘Taystee’ Jefferson) would post on Twitter about wrapping up production for the original Netflix series.
