‘John Wick: Chapter 3’ (2019) Cast Adds Star Power To The Next Installment
Keanu Reeves returns for the third installment of the ‘John Wick’ franchise and there’s some star power coming his way.

Production has officially begun for the third installment of John Wick. As the movie is in the process of being produced the cast is also coming along as well. It’s no surprise that Keanu Reeves will return for his iconic role, but Lionsgate has revealed new information regarding the new cast members in the world of John Wick. The first heavy-hitter is Oscar winner Halle Berry cast as a non-villain, but the film’s female lead, Sofia. Next, we have Anjelica Huston as The Director, Asia Kate Dillon as The Adjudicator of the High Table, Jason Mantzoukas as The Tick Tock Man, and Mark Dascascos as an assassin named Zero. The film will also being added martial arts star Tiger Hu Chen, Yayan Ruhian (The Raids), and Cecep Arif Rahman these three are pegged to face off against Reeves’ lethal avenger.
Prior reports suggested back in January, that the primary villain would be Hiroyuki Sanada (The Wolverine), the head of a Japanese crime syndicate who has a score to settle with Keanu Reeves’ title character, but that has yet to be confirmed.
With the new faces coming to the franchise to expand the story of John Wick will come some familiar ones reprising their roles. Actors Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, and Lance Reddick so continunity isn’t an issue. Chapter 3 won’t have a time gap as it will pick up directly after the events of John Wick: Chapter 2, where Reeves’ character has a small window to escape from New York City after killing members of the assassin’s guild the High Table.
Chad Stahelski will return to direct with Derek Kolstad, writer of the two previous John Wick films, Chris Collins, Marc Abrams, and Shay Hatten penning the script. Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee are producing from Thunder Road Productions, with Lionsgate.
John Wick: Chapter 3 is set to thrill you in theatres on May 17th, 2019.
