After Batman v Superman the critics dropped the proverbial hammer on the movie for its convoluted plot and forcing the fans to adapt to a new universe in one movie. However, with Warner Bros. still able to turn the critics’ words into money for the studio the plans to push the DC Cinematic Universe continued with the release of Wonder Woman which has been one of DC’s latest success on the big screen. For the actors involved in BvS, the response wasn’t so confident as one in particular express his dismay for a role he put so much effort into preparing to portray.
Ben Affleck had the negative stigma of Daredevil on his superhero role belt. Once his name was dropped to be cast as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the coming ‘Batman v Superman’ the fans began to dish out displeasure for Affleck being DC’s beloved Dark Knight. Afterward, many bared witness to Affleck portrayal as the iconic character that many fans saw it as a redemption for Ben Affleck to portray Batman once again; maybe in a standalone film. Despite the positive reactions of the role, rumors began to surround the likelihood of Ben Affleck actually returning as Batman after his appearance in the upcoming ‘Justice League’ movie.
