Marvel’s Inhumans (2017): ‘The Royal Family’

Marvel has been keeping their studio busy with the numerous development of iconic superheroes and villains being brought to life. Who would think 10 years since the first IronMan movie being released that Marvel would bring the story of Inhumans to the table. Marvel’s Inhuman takes a look at a never-before-told adventure of the royal family trying to the lush world of Hawaii where they’re greeted with multiple obstacles that test their very survival. Since the epic series has only appeared via literature it will be interesting to see how they display the powers of commanding King of the Inhumans, the enigmatic Black Bolt whose powers can demolish a city with the slightest whisper.

Following last week’s Comic-Con the legendary comic book series, Inhumans will be brough to life in a way never done before. Marvel Entertainment and ABC has released three character posters featuring Black Bolt, Medusa, and Maximus:

Marvel’s Inhumans stars Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Iwan Rheon as Maximus, Serinda Swan as Medusa, Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, Ken Leung as Karnak, Ellen Woglom as an undisclosed character, Sonya Balmores as Auran and Mike Moh as Triton.

The series is executive produced by Scott Buck, along with Marvel’s Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory with Buck serving as showrunner. Roel Reiné directed the first two episodes. The series will be broken up in two different avenues first a version of the first two episodes will be shown globally in IMAX theatres for two weeks, beginning September 1, 2017. then, ABC will air the entirety of the series throughout this Fall with the addition of some exclusive content.
