The Swarms are coming!

A new saga begins for one of most acclaimed video games franchises in history. It seems like only yesterday as the first installment of Gears was released introducing the hordes of monsters hellbent on destroying the human race. Fast forward three games-25 fictional years later and the war still continues. Microsoft has officially released the Gears of War 4 launch trailer, showing off new gameplay from the upcoming game which debuts next month.

Set 25 years after the events of Gears of War 3, JD Fennix and his friends, Kait and Del, must rescue the ones they love and discover the source of a monstrous new enemy.

With the anticipation mounting for this game’s release Gear of War 4 marks the beginning of an epic new saga. A new band of heroes has come together to confront the new threat as this game will honor the dark and intense roots of the original. Fans of that have played the first one can expect a familiar, yet distinct evolution of gameplay, including brutal and intimate action. And like in true Gears of War fashion, a heart-pounding campaign, genre-defining multiplayer with stunning visuals powered by consistent Unreal Engine 4.
