Despite the criticized ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’ being something the good majority would like to forget (I’m not one of them) it seems like a redemption is on the horizon. Comic-Con has been in session and it’s the greatest time to be a fan of anything dealing with superheroes or comics in general. At Comic-Con the moments you will experience is something anybody will geek out for. Recently we got the teaser for season 7 of The Walking Dead, a trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie, the unveiling of ‘The Black Panther’ cast, the confirmation of The Vulture being in the upcoming ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ movie, and much more that would take up a lot to explain. Even in that one sentence that a lot for one person to comprehend. However, Comic-Con went to the justice side of things with an amazing teaser.
Director Zack Snyder is getting one more shot with the famed DC characters that he can provide an amazing superhero movie with the ‘Justice League’. Warner Bros. decided to surprise fans with the first footage from Justice League at their Hall H presentation at this San Diego Comic-Con, which also featured a look at the upcoming Wonder Woman movie as well. Thousands of fans were packed into the room to get a look at the future of the DC Extended Universe, which will be continuing with Suicide Squad early next month. But all eyes were on Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman follow-up, and Warner Bros. decided to not keep fans waiting and gave them the footage that they hoped would put everyone’s mind at ease.
Here’s the synopsis:
“Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.“
The movie has a cast that we are largely already familiar with, bringing back Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, as well as Ezra Miller as The Flash, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Ray Fisher as Cyborg, who had brief cameos in Batman V Superman. Justice League has also added J.K. Simmons, Amber Heard and Willem Dafoe. Also returning is Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred.
