Injustice 2: Every Battle Defines You [Trailer]

NetherRealm Studios loves to tease the fans with the possibilities of new content whether, it’s a new game, DLC, or just a teaser to something coming in the near future. One that does it well is the NetherRealm Studios’, Ed Boon who “trolls” just about everyone who tries to shake or tweets the information of possible new details. A good example is when Ed Boon was revealing new Kombat Pack information for Mortal Kombat X back in March. Now it wasn’t Ed Boon’s doing for the leak that occurred yesterday as new details emerged for ‘Injustice 2’.

‘Injustice: God Among Us’ was such a huge difference where it captivated the essence that made Mortal Kombat the great fighting game it has been for decades. The poster that was leaked featured Batman and Flash equipped with armor as they were surely ready for battle.

Ed Boon, Creative Director of NetherRealm Studios & David Hadded, President of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment did offer their take on what Injustice 2 intents to do for the franchise.

“In Injustice 2, we are introducing new features that will change the way fans play fighting games,” said Ed Boon, Creative Director, NetherRealm Studios. “We’re always interested in pushing the genre forward and allowing players to customize and level up their favorite DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains is a significant leap.”

“Expanding the DC Universe in games continues to be one of our top priorities, and Injustice 2 showcases amazing gameplay and an original story to bring the characters to life for players,” said David Haddad, President, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. “NetherRealm Studios is offering fans an experience of customizing and battling with DC’s iconic characters in an entirely new way.”

Injustice 2 will take the initiative by making customization a top priority for each superhero and super-villain. Every battle defines you isn’t just a tagline as for the first time gamers can take control of how their characters look, fight, and develop across a variety of game modes. The award-winning NetherRealm Studios will feature a massive roster of DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains allowing the diversity to be endless as players will be able to build and power up the ultimate version of their favorite DC Characters.

Injustice 2 will be available for Playstation 4 & Xbox One in 2017.
