For wrestling or sports entertainment (whichever one you prefer) fans, WrestleMania is one of the most exciting times as all events in the world of professional wrestling ups the ante to make their card the best possible. Promotions like ROH, EVOLVE, have a way of showcasing talent in their own ‘WrestleMania’ like event during the week.
After what many was said, to be a horrible Pay-Per-View offering in “Fastlane”, WWE has its sights set on WrestleMania 32, which by now everyone knows it’s their premier event of the year. After this past Monday, we can now say that they’re a few matches that will shake up the landscape of the WWE are confirmed for what can be Dallas’ biggest event to date.
Fans may not be thrilled with the main event, but like last year in the same case both Reigns & Lesnar delivered great storytelling in the fact that Brock delivered a beatdown and Reigns (although not winning) survived that beating from that beast. Perhaps this year around this main event will grow on people as it leads up to the show of shows. Now the other two confirmed matches are really big with fans as one is truly something nobody would have expected even if you try to lay claim to it now that it has been announced.
Triple H (c) vs. Roman Reigns – WWE World Heavyweight Championship
At WWE Fastlane, Roman Reigns officially became the No. 1 contender for the WWE’s richest prize when he defeated Dean Ambrose and Brock Lesnar. It looked like Ambrose was going to capitalize on going on to WrestleMania after a flurry of those chair shots to Lesnar and Reigns, but Reigns would deliver a spear to his ‘brother’ to get the pinfall and victory. He will face the 14-time world champion at the showcase of the immortals in what could be the crowning moment of Reigns’ career. The feud has culminated to this point since last November where Reigns would dish out a brutal beat down to the COO Triple H since Royal Rumble Triple H got the better of Reigns by taking away his championship and a brutal attack that resulted in a broken nose.
The Undertaker vs. Shane McMahon – Hell In A Cell — (If Shane wins he controls RAW)
Many rumors were swirling about who will face The Undertaker this year at WrestleMania. The last we saw of Taker was at HIAC where he lost to Brock Lesnar inside Hell In A Cell. It was built as the last time Lesnar and Taker would ever battle in a WWE ring. Afterward many then wondered who will take on The Phenom, names like Kevin Owens, The Rock, Goldberg, and John Cena were pitched in the WWE Universe. The only name that was close was John Cena, but unfortunately, due to his surgery, the idea was ditched. It’s like clock-work where WWE has some type of way to bring back The Undertaker, but this year the rumor mill sourced a claim that his opponent was someone who wasn’t on the roster. Names like The Rock & Goldberg were thrown back into the mix, but with the added Sting, Stone Cold, and even NXT stars that could be moved up. However this past Monday what was suppose to be the presentation of the “Vincent J. McMahon: Legacy of Excellence” award was quickly turned into a shocking return from Shane McMahon after a six-year hiatus. He confronted his father and sister past week wanting his father to give up control of RAW and the WWE to him, but Vince like always had a plan. He would give in to Shane’s demands if he defeats the man who dawned The Streak, The Phenom, The Undertaker at WrestleMania. “The Deadman” has not reacted to the match, but will return to next week’s episode of RAW.
Dean Ambrose vs. Brock Lesnar – No Holds Barred
Dean Ambrose is without a doubt a great athlete in the WWE. He’s a respected by the WWE Universe, he’s has a never-say-die attitude, and simply he’s a LUNATIC. We’ve seen Ambrose at points last year almost grab that proverbial brass ring and shatter the glass ceiling against the likes of Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Brock Lesnar. Since going his own way from The Shield, even though Reigns is partially teaming up with Ambrose, the character of that is Dean Ambrose has lived up to being entertaining. On the “go-home” edition of RAW, Ambrose was put in a ‘Fatal-5’ way match for his then Intercontinental championship where he lost it to Kevin Owens without being pinned. That brought his focus on the WWE World Heavyweight championship heading into Fastlane. Ambrose would “cost” Brock Lesnar that No. 1 contender spot after repeated chairs shots to the back. “The Beast” got his revenge when he took out Ambrose this past Monday, sending him to the hospital. Heyman would later challenge anyone who wanted to face his client, Lesnar. Ambrose would answer that challenge, but add that he wanted to face Brock in a No Holds Barred match. Lesnar would accept that challenge by F-5ing Ambrose on the floor.

The card for WrestleMania 32 is building as other teased matches are being set-up. A likely triple threat match between Charlotte, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch for the WWE Divas championship. Kevin Owens would tease a possible feud with AJ Styles at WrestleMania. Only time will tell as we’re just 39 days left until April 3rd and WWE trying to break their own all time record of attendance for WrestleMania. The Road to WrestleMania is only getting hotter.
