Dying Light (2015)

This zombie survival horror game will be released on January 27, 2015 which is a few days earlier than the planned February launch date and will be made available in Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, and PC versions.

The game is featured with a mode that allows gamers to become a Night Hunter, a one of a kind powerful walking dead that owns various set of lethal skills.

Moreover, the game will allow the players to invade other players’ games as the Night Hunter. The competitive player mode called ‘Be the Zombie’ pit the Night Hunter versus human survivors.

Techland revealed the game play that the players can expect in a press release. The studio stated, ‘Up to 4 players will be able to team up to face the dangers of the day and the terrors of the night-two distinct sides of Dying Light’s game play.’

In addition, the game which is told from a first person view lets the gamers explore the game’s open world as human survivor, searching for items and fighting the undead. Players can make use of weapons such as a spiked baseball bat, a pistol and an electric ax. Nevertheless, gamers can climb walls reaching rooftops of buildings and even swim through water.

The initial release date was scheduled this year, however, Techland had to move it to February 2015 with the studio’s desire to innovate.

The Studio said in an official statement, ‘The new date ensures that we can fully realize our vision of an innovative open-world game. We won’t need to make compromises or trade-offs on any of the five platforms we’re working on. For you, it means an outstanding, original game tat makes the wait more than worthwhile.’

Pre-orders online are now made available at a price of $59.99 ahead of the highly anticipated Dying Light release date.
