LL Cool J & Run DMC To Perform At ‘Christmas In Brooklyn’

Premier R&B station WBLS 107.5 and hip-hop leader HOT 97 present “Christmas in Brooklyn,” the must-see concert of the holiday season. The star-studded event will take place at the Barclays Center on Friday, Dec. 19, and will appeal to hip-hop enthusiasts and R&B connoisseurs alike.

“Christmas in Brooklyn” will feature performances by iconic hip-hop group Run DMC, rapper and actor LL Cool J featuring DJ Z-Trip, and artist and record producer Lecrae. Tickets are available now on Ticketmaster.com, by phone at (800) 653-8000, and at all Ticketmaster outlet locations.

Founded in 1981, Run DMC has affirmed their position as one of the most impactful groups in hip-hop history. For over 20 years they have produced and performed music crossing multiple generations. In 2009, the timeless group was inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, further securing their place amongst the hip-hop and music elite. Audiences will also enjoy television/movie actor and Grammy Award-winning hip-hop trailblazer, LL Cool J. LL, a native of Queens, was one of the first rappers to achieve “crossover” success and become a household name in the U.S.

In addition to these legendary performers, Lecrae, renowned Christian hip-hop artist and record producer, will take the stage. Lecrae is recognized for his ability to share his faith in Jesus Christ through hip-hop lyric, and his talent and musical versatility has earned him a Grammy Award, and numerous nominations from the Billboard Music Awards, Soul Train Music Awards and BET Hip Hop Awards.
