Bray Wyatt has been one of the most enigmatic wrestlers in the WWE since he made his debut on “WWE Monday Night Raw.” He wrestles with two men who seem to be part of his cult and attacks anyone that he feels represents the lifestyle and personality that is against his own beliefs. However, in an interview with Sporting News on Tuesday, he said that he doesn’t consider himself a bad guy.
The interview sounded like Wyatt was bouncing in and out of character. He made some jokes when talking about his appearance in the WWE 2K15 video game, making a comment that his muscles were not as big in the game as they are in real life. He also admired the entire game itself, calling it breathtaking. However, when it came back to his wrestling persona, he dropped back into character.
When asked about the audiences cheering him, despite the fact that he is a heel, Wyatt dismissed the characterization of faces and heels. According to Wyatt, he believes that there are not good people and bad people in the world. He argued that there are people who do bad things and people who do good things, but what they do should never define them as a bad or good person because good people do bad things as well.
It really goes with his entire character as someone who feels he is standing up for those who can’t stand up for themselves. He also has always attacked what he feels is hypocrisy, even against a super face like John Cena or a popular veteran like Chris Jericho. That is what makes Bray Wyatt such an interesting character.
There was also some big news breaking this week out of the WWE rumors mill. The recent promothat the WWE showed for the Wyatt Family focusing on Luke Harper is supposed to lead to Harper leaving the Wyatt Family. The idea is that the Wyatt Family will break up but there is no word on who will work as a face or a heel once the split up happens.
