This Sunday: WWE SummerSlam pt. III ‘Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena’
On August 17th, two determined athletes will square off in a rival that can’t be confined to just a ring. Brock Lesnar and John Cena will do battle in Los Angeles for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. There’s no stipulations, but even the rules of a traditional wrestling match will not dictate the caliber of destruction that’s yet to come.
On an episode of Monday Night Raw, John Cena and Paul Heyman (the advocate of Brock Lesnar) dueled with words and phrases. But it was the tenacious champion; John Cena who brought the level of passion to the next level.
“….When the chips are down he may beat the hell out of me but he’s going to beat every last breath out of this body, because I’m walking in SummerSlam champion, and I’m walking out with this son-of-b***h!!”
Those roaring words resonated with the WWE Universe whose behind the Cenation leader, but like Cena said, “…he’s a super athlete…” Those words are indeed fact as Brock Lesnar with his tenure in the WWE—on or off—has proven that to be a fact.
Ever since Lesnar’s presence has been felt back on the WWE forefront with the main eventers of sports entertainment, he’s displayed a level of destruction that only a hurricane can cause. Although Cena has defended himself against the ‘Beast Incarnate’, Paul Heyman proclaims Brock Lesnar was only at 50% when he returned at Extreme Rules (2012).
This sunday on pay per view and the WWE Network (for $9.99 if you subscribe to the WWE Network) what has been dubbed as the ‘Biggest Fight of the Summer’, Brock Lesnar gets his shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after proving himself worth of it when he defeated the longest streak in WrestleMania history of The Undertaker to face John Cena.
Who will win the biggest match of their career, John Cena or Brock Lesnar? Who do you want to win? Will Paul Heyman be a factor in the match or will Heyman let the two powerhouses decide the outcome for themselves?
