Chris Brown Graces Billboard’s Cover

Chris Brown is the latest cover model for Billboard, opening up with the magazine about his sixth studio album, X, out on September 16.

In the cover story, he also divulges on his recent legal troubles, insisting that he has now grown up and is “moving forward.” Earlier this week, the singer made the responsible decision to close his final open court case by accepting a plea deal for a misdemeanor assault he was charged with last October.

Here’s an excerpt from his revealing interview:

“I can say that I am only human and I have made mistakes. I can say that I try to live my life in the most true, honest way that I can. I am not perfect, no one is. No one is harder on me than me … I have been moving forward and hope that I am not defined by just a few moments in my life but all of the moments that will make up my life.”
