Seventh Son

If you happen to enjoy watching movies that are set in a time of myths and legend, where strange beasts and supernatural beings battle against a mystical warrior and his apprentice, then you will probably enjoy the fantasy adventure Seventh Son.

The Seventh Son has been quite a long time coming, having been delayed three times, and was expected to see release back in 2013, but is now expected to release early next year.

The fantasy tells the story of Tom Ward, a lowly farmhand that just happens to be the Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, which basically means he is the chosen one to battle the evil forces of darkness, and is taken under the guidance of the last of an order of noble knights.

A new trailer for Seventh Son has now become available, and we have of course embedded that new trailer below for your viewing consideration, which shows that the hero has to go up against some evil looking beasts as well as the most dangerous witch in the country, Mother Malkin.

Directed by Sergey Bodrov, Seventh Son stars Ben Barnes as Tom Ward, Jeff Bridges as Master Gregory, Julianne Moore as Mother Malkin, Kit Harington as Billy Bradley, Timothy Webber as Malcom Ward, and Djimon Hounsou as Radu.
